    Cahiers du Cinéma, still the best writing on cinema: you have to be able to read French of course. I get the paper edition (there are a few places in London) but electronic versions are available: https://www.cahiersducinema.com/

    Also, I was looking into London Review of Books. I like The Economist, but find it can be a bit lacking on culture. Any experiences with LRB?

      Funny how short the list is going to be. We subscribe to The Economist, I thought about adding The New Yorker but my wife vetoed it.
