They are right, there are countries in European Union where people are arrested and harassed by authorities for critiquing immigration and other stuff.

And removed from positions of authority or facing trumped up (heh) charges or threated with $1Billion lawsuits for speaking out against the president/prime minister.

Happens all the time in the EU.

Is this going to be that woman who was jailed for demanding the arson of asylum seeker accommodation, again?

Can't even incite mass murder anymore with being put in prison; it's political correctness gone mad!

I mean, given that you haven't provided any examples, I'm just going to go ahead and assume that the word 'critiquing' is being used very, ah, loosely, here. You can, generally, critique all you want; it's when you step over into inciting violence that you get in trouble.

Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence. So please present such evidence.

Or by "critiquing immigration" do we actually mean racist dogwhistles against people who are the wrong colour? I sure hope not, but whatever sources for your claim you give can probably clarify this.

We all know what kind if information the Trump administration and their allies want to spread: misinformation, disinformation and right wing propaganda. Then they accuse anyone fact checking it or otherwise of 'censorship' when they refuse to allow it to spread.
