And yet it's ok for ICE to kill people on the basis of feeling fearful

Just a few weeks ago, I nearly got taken for 10 grand on a scam sheriff call claiming that I had missed jury duty and was facing charges.

The tragic part of this story is that thinking back on my mental state as I’m going through my scam call, I’m not sure I would’ve done it any differently from this guy.

When you go from having a normal day to being threatened with jail in 30 seconds by someone who absolutely sounds like a cop, it’s very hard to think straight.

I hope the true perpetrators of this scheme are caught, this is an abhorrent level of cruelty.

Holy shit. Also scamming the uber driver as well, by instructing her to drive to her eventual killer’s address adds an entire different layer to this.
