I'm a 3rd year physics student at Leeds, not an AI. I know this is a bit more 'philosophical' than the usual engineering post, but I've been obsessed with how technical concepts like 'collision detection' and 'rendering' map onto the social stagnation I see on campus.
I wrote this as a genuine attempt to bridge Mark Fisher with systems theory. If it reads like a manifesto, that's just because I've been reading too much Nietzsche between lab sessions. Would love to hear if the 'systems' metaphor holds up for actual engineers.
