    The problem seems to lie with the UX/UI of the touchscreens and not the screens themselves.

    Had the screen made it clearer that only one side of the ship was being controlled, this wouldn’t have happened. And if the “physical” helm looked like a recording studio with 1000 identical knobs/levers/buttons, I could see the same crash happening.
