The “Photos” section mistakenly links to the “Notes” section. For such an angry rant about how AI is degrading software quality, you would think you would be able to configure a static blog properly.

This is just a rant with zero actual content or insight. Maybe using an LLM would have made it more legible.

It is not AI’s fault; rather, the issue lies in how AI is misused or applied incorrectly.

    > Shit is getting bad out in the actual software economy. Cash registers that have to be rebooted twice a day. Inventory systems that randomly drop orders. Claims forms filled with clearly “AI”-sourced half-finished localisation strings. That’s just what I’ve heard from people around me this week. I see more and more every day.

What? You can't argue "if the software is shitty, it must be vibe coded." People have been writing shit software with low standards since before 2023.

"debating dicks is pointless" maybe that's why no one is debating you. All you provide is illogical arguments and logical fallacies, so there's nothing worth debating. You're guilty in your utterly flawed argument of everything you accuse the other side of.

I am very much in the anti-AI side. Not against it as a matter of principle, but that I feel like I'm living in a parallel universe where I'm the only one who can't make these tools do anything other than spit out mediocre content, and the times they are helpful it would have been quicker to do it myself. I keep trying every day. And I accept I may be biased.

I only say this to say that, generally, I'm not coming at this article from the other side of the great AI divide. And yet they lost me immediately. The whole piece feels like the political ramblings, verging on the conspiracy side, that you would see in one-sided subreddits or Twitter. I struggled to even digest the content in the middle.

It’s sad when a rant about LLMs would have been much better had the author run it through an LLM first. However, debating dicks is pointless so I won’t bother discarding any of this article’s poorly made points.
