I built Eript because I was frustrated with the current state of teleprompter tools. Most of them are either bloated "freemium" mobile apps or web tools that force you to create an account just to paste a script.

I wanted something that just works the second you open the tab.

    Key features:

    - Zero Friction: No signup, no login, no data collection.

    - Privacy-First: Your scripts stay in your browser's local storage. Nothing is sent to a server.

    - Offline Ready: It's a PWA, so you can "install" it and use it in environments with no internet (like a studio or on the road).

    - Timer & WPM: Simple math-based script timing so you know exactly how long your video will be.

The Tech: It's a React/Vite project. I focused heavily on making the teleprompter UI performant (no jank during scrolling) and ensuring the PWA manifest allows for a true "app-like" experience on tablets and phones.

I’d love to hear your feedback—especially on the scrolling physics or any features you think are missing for a "vanilla" video workflow.
