    Took them a while to show some moves, but....

    Last week UK's government spokesman was asked why the government has not followed through on PMs commitment at the end of last year to ban any apps producing such deep takes, but he refused to address this question and would not commit to such a ban or for the govt to stop posting there.

    In my opinion every public body, government, healthcare, NGOs staying on Twitter is complicit, it enables and approves the situation where the global site profits from creation and distribution of the nonconsensual and illicit images.

    They normalise it. Talking is cheap.

    Staying on the platform doing that so defiantly and openly Is signalling to the advertisers its fine to have account on there. That its okay to have indecent (potentially illegal) images on the screen. This is tacit endorsement and enabling of the abuse.

    So hilariously hypocritical from this particular government.
