He's not his father, but his father's legacy has aspects which are worth reflecting on. In order for the 1979 revolution to succeed, the Pahlavi years had to reach a nadir for violence, corruption and indefensible governance of their people.

If I point to a poll from within Iran, you'll say it's unreliable... and again you'll be correct.
If I point to the numerous videos from the protests featuring 'Javid Shah' chants, you'll say we can't know if they are representative... and yet again you'll be correct.
So I don't have a good source, and I don't know for certain. It's just my impression.
