How about clutch-sensitive armrests so when the passengers are holding on for dear life there is an appropriate electronic signal given to the driver.
This would be good whether or not the driver was human or AI :)

Ha ha, Also interesting, maybe a voice activated app that automatically sets the onboard map to the nearest public transport station upon detection of the third "Pay attention!" ;))
