The early Levi’s Stadium turf was notoriously uneven and slippery, causing slips and tears in its first few years, but that was fixed with hybrid grass by 2017. Teams like the Jets and Giants on notoriously bad turf don’t see the same tendon-rupture epidemics. No other franchise, even those running identical schemes on the same hybrid turf, comes anywhere close.
