    Tailwind was really not needed here, plus this check (currentYear >= 2026) is debatable. is it 2026 in 2027? is "yet" here saying that since it's passed, the statement is true?

    I'm half joking here, but it's good to take into account :P

      As for the grammar of "yet": I'm treating 2026 as a lower bound. So while 2026 technically passes, 2027 satisfies the inequality strictly (>), which makes it arguably more '2026 yet' than 2026 is.
