    Yes this is true. But it was already a problem that individual companies are as powerful as nations. No company should be worth a trillion dollars. It distorts the market and there can’t be fair competition against these mega corps.

    they're also not as constrained as nations are to act or spend money.

    and are often capable of situating their matters in favorable jurisdictions. or (recently again) sowing dissolution against established states or unions.

    billionaires are effectively stateless, governments should treat them as major security risks IMO.

    personally I have money on elon launching rockets at someone after coming out of a bad k-hole. I will admit, his tolerance for rhino ket is admirable.
