    A rational response. Humans have always eaten a fair bit of omega 6. Just nowhere anywhere near _this_ much. Consumption has gone up at least 5x since the 1900s, in large part due to soybean/veg oil being in virtually every industrial food ingredient list. It's not evil, it's just everywhere and hard to avoid.
