    This is taking things even further out of context than the tweet's text, and is not supported by the video. The entire point is about not picking and choosing from scripture; it is not endorsing any specific statement there as appropriate current-day policy.

    I think people do not like to hear anything that does not align with their team or their friend circles have convinced them of. Perhaps in the future psychologists will study this behavior.
