      I don't know what that means, but also was that ever a concern I should have had before?

      Not completely the same. On OpenAI‘s site it begins with "OpenAI and Microsoft" and on Microsoft‘s with "Microsoft and OpenAI" :)

            Hmm? Semantically they are equivalent ("this is the same statement"), bytewise they are not identical ("not completely the same"). Both parent comments are true statements. Things can be in the same equivalence class without being identical. What am I missing?

      Microsoft has tentatively agreed to invest $100B+ into OpenAI's corporate arm. There is not yet a firm, binding agreement. OpenAI says it will remain a nonprofit + public benefit corporation and describes itself as a "philanthropic organization." They're soliciting applications for a $50M pool of grants for things like AI education and "community innovation."

        And OpenAI is a "non-profit" so Oracle strait get 75% or more of OpenAI fees ?

        All that strange bilions just like in ad tech... Why manager pay so much bilions ?? It must be managers, who else it can be ? Except govs ofc :)
