For reasons I won't get into, I was forced to watch a youtube commercial that basically functioned as propaganda for investing in Tesla stock. It was set up as an interview and the man said Tesla made a huge breakthrough in AI and that was the future value of Tesla (presumably to distract investors from their failing car business). The whole thing was super cringe and smelled of desperation.

Musk has started shifting value among his companies to "optimize" his finances. The first move was to merge X with XAI. I bet his loans with Morgan Stanley got restructured as part of the $10 billion XAI round Morgan Stanley led. Which also explains why Morgan Stanley didn't squawk when the round was announced the same week that Grok decided to call itself Mecha Hitler and go on an alarming rant about people with certain surnames.

Now he's putting Grok in Tesla cars, creating licensing and other revenue streams from a publicly traded company to XAI, where he owns a much higher percentage of the shares.
