We are in a climate system with plenty of positive feedback loops. Bringing the system closer to the edge with our emissions, that we might control may trigger massive emissions from the rest of the system, that we may not be able to control anymore. We are not walking in safe ground, and seem that most are not aware of the risks of doing that.
