Not sure if that’s how it still works but you can submit the DS-160 and then try everyday to see if there are open slots for earlier dates due to people cancelling or them opening more slots.
In Brazil there used to be companies who did F5 on the browser all they for their clients and charged for it.

    In Brazil it was, but that was years ago. I can’t speak for the current situation, but given the stakes, I would try if I could afford it.
