There’s a wonderful movie called lucky numbers with Lisa kudrow and john travolta and michael Moore (the director) all directed by Nora ephron who made movies like sleepless in Seattle and when harry met sally. It’s all about rigging a lottery. I think it got bad reviews but ignore them. The movie has a wonderful charm that is missing in most things I watch these days.

My favorite part about this story is the name of the shell company the bettors used to claim their money. It was "Rook TX".

It's no longer in common usage in the states but "to rook" is a verb meaning to theive from or swindle.
