Given the increase in power budget and cooling, I’m still disappointed to see that the lowly MacBook Air is not just competitive, but sometimes leading against the best x86 chips, some 5 years after the first one was released.

After struggling with heat and power usage, I’ve resigned myself to macOS in the short term. I’d love to see real competition again.
