    The Chinese gov. can incentivize consumers directly via the social credit scoring.

    Buy local -> get more points -> congrats you can now ride the train.

      We have a social credit system here in the US too. It’s called LexisNexis, background checks, FICO, and college background. They determine what jobs you can get, the places you can rent from, and what cars you can finance.

        At least doesn't depend upon whether you rant drunk at a party. The whataboutism is ridiculously strong in the wumaos today. Guess even the most jaded get to feel patriotic pride when a political stampede like trump is going through town

          Oh yeah, that one is called getting filmed and exposed on social media. People have been fired over that which decreases their social credit score.
