In a related article ... the Administration is claiming every person deported, including the 'Maryland man', has been accorded 'due process'. And then adds: "a different kind of due process for terrorists".

Upon examination of her statements, it is clear that this "different kind" of due process does not include a hearing during which the person has a right to be heard or to confront any purported evidence.

      It’s a process alright. A lawless process.

The Governor of Maryland is a Democrat. He should issue arrest warrants for the agents involved. It’s probably not Constitutional, but it would be dramatic and popular.

(Also, this is an administrative stay. It is “meant to give the justices some breathing room while the full court considers the matter” [1]. They’re preserving the status quo while they think.)

    > Responding to the chief justice's order on Monday afternoon, Mr Sandoval-Moshenberg said: "This is just a temporary administrative stay, we have full confidence that the Supreme Court will resolve this matter as quickly as possible."

The good news is the family's lawyer is not worried about the stay. The bad news is it sounds like the Garcia was got ... "lost" ... once sent to El Salvador.

These forceable deportations are sounding marginally borderline with concentration camps.

The implications if they overturn this ruling are dangerous. Deporting an innocent person to a foreign prison with no due process sets a chilling precedent. Are we sliding into a world where the government make anyone they wish disappear?
