I can only assume that delaying the search for another eight-ish months will only widen the search area when they do resume the search, which will make it even more challenging to locate the wreckage due to ocean currents and seabed shifts.
With multiple searches failing despite advanced technology over the course of (more than) a decade, I personally think that it’s hard to believe MH370 will ever be found.
