Very nice read. Missing from the essay (but present in all of the
philosophers mentioned) is "experience". Musk and so many other
"smart" types lack it because they've used tech - smartly, and will
defend to the hilt as a virtue - to cushion their experience of the
real world - and in Mr Musk's case to manage awful childhood issues
around control. Those sorts never develop to wisdom because they're
too busy being "successful".
