    It's one of those things that the more people hear the closer it gets to reality in people's minds. Locally, a radio host was openly wondering if it was true without the slidest proof. He was leaning towards the yes side. Social media magnifies both the positives and minuses of human nature.

    It seems disingenuous for CNN to state that the chemtrails conspiracy theory "falsely asserts the US government used non-existent weather manipulation technology," when the US government does actually have weather manipulation technology that it has used for decades, including offensively during the Vietnam War [1]. I am not claiming that the federal government can control hurricanes, in fact later studies conducted by NOAA seem to point towards this not being physically possible [2] but it seems like a natural thing for someone to be curious about.
