Solo founder in Nizhny Novgorod, Russia. For the past year I have been testing one question: can a detector trained on nothing but rendered 3D frames work on real photographs? Traffic signs are the test object — rigid, standardised, cheap to build exactly and easy to check against open datasets.

Everything is measured on real images only, never on my own generated data. Where the result has been checked by someone else, it got narrower, not bigger. Background is production 3D and motion graphics, not ML research.
