| about: | I’m Margie, and Acts2Track grew out of lived experience. For decades, I walked alongside both of my parents through long cancer journeys. People loved them well — they brought meals, visited, prayed, and helped in practical ways. But even with that support, care was harder than it needed to be. Every visit seemed to start from scratch. The same questions were repeated, important details were lost between conversations, and the same few people carried much of the burden. After my mother passed away, my father followed just ten days later. Forty days after that, our home burned down in a California wildfire. Years later, my husband survived a serious motorcycle accident that required seven surgeries, two months in the hospital, and learning to walk again. This time, we were the ones receiving care — and we saw the same gaps from the other side. People cared deeply, but there was no simple way to carry the story forward. Later, while serving in our church’s widow care ministry, I saw the same problem again: scattered information, spreadsheets, workarounds, and faithful people trying to serve without the context they needed. So we built Acts2Track — to help churches care with greater continuity, compassion, and clarity. It gives servants the information they need before they show up, helps prevent people from slipping through the cracks, and makes it easier to offer care that goes deeper than a meal or a visit. |
