Reading someone's GitHub well takes longer than it should. Forks look like projects, stars look like quality, and the interesting work is often in other people's repositories.

GitCaliber reads a public profile or repository and writes a short report: what they built, what they work in, how they work with others, and what the public record can't show. Every claim names a repository you can open, and projects the person started are kept apart from forks. The numbers are computed in code; the text is written by Claude Haiku.

A few choices: it doesn't rate anyone, there's only a description you can check. The model never sees the person's name, bio, location or photo. You see them, but the description is written without them. Stars and followers are treated as reach, not quality.
